No, you do not need to own a firearm to take our class. We offer firearm rentals and ammunition packages for a small additional fee.
Yes! Our classes are extremely beginner-friendly. We will walk you through everything from basic safety to proper grip before you ever step foot on the range.
If you bring your own equipment: A valid NC Driver's License, a reliable handgun, 30 rounds of factory-loaded ammunition, and eye/ear protection.
It covers NC laws regarding deadly force, handgun safety, marksmanship fundamentals, and a live-fire qualification on the range to ensure safe handling.
You will receive an official certificate of completion. You will take this certificate to your local Sheriff's Office (such as the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office) to apply for your actual Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP).
he NC Concealed Carry class is an all-day event. Expect to spend 8 hours in the classroom to meet state legal requirements, followed by additional time at the range.
